MURRAY FAMILY FOUNDATION
WHO WE ARE
The Murray Family Foundation was created to provide support within the North Central Texas community. It is based on the belief that by contributing to the well-being of others, we grow and strengthen humanity in hope that it radiates outward.
Our Mission is to better the lives of others through:
Education, mentorship, and support of foster youth currently and as they transition from foster care to independent living.
Education, K to 12th grade for underserved youth.
Catholic Charities / previously established support services that are actively engaged in contribution to the community
FOCUS AREAS
FOSTER YOUTH AND FAMILIES
We support and fund in areas of family programs that create a safe, secure, and stable environment as well as education and mentorship programs that support and encourage foster youth and to help them grow in self-confidence and community
We support and fund programs that help with self-sufficiency of older youth that prepare them for independent living and fulfilling futures as they transition from foster care.
EDUCATION K - 12
We support and fund education programs and services for grades K-12 in underserved communities.

CATHOLIC CHARITIES
We support and fund established Catholic Charities programs in Texas that support the community through long established programs that help to transform lives. We support CC in times of crisis as needed to help existing conditions.
GRANTS
New Applicants: Please submit an LOI for review. Once we have reviewed the LOI and consider it in alignment with our mission statement we will contact the applicant to arrange a site visit as this is a requirement for consideration for funding.
ELEGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
An organization must have current 501(c)(3) Public Charity status from the Internal Revenue Service.
The organization must serve the North Central Texas Community.
All LOIs must be submitted via email.
In all instances, a board member will conduct a site visit.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All applications must be submitted via email.
All applicants will be notified of grant decisions in writing.
Follow-up reports for returning applicants must be received 6 months after receipt of initial grant.

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS
Churches
Annual Campaigns
Political activists
Loans
Projects of organizations whose policies or practices discriminate on the basis
of ethnic origin, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation.
